The first top-prize-winning Lucky for Life ticket to be sold in 2023 was purchased in Fairfield County at Byram Smoke Shop in Greenwich at 111 Mill St., according to Connecticut Lottery.
The winning numbers were drawn on Saturday, March 4: 4, 7, 15, 17, 30, with a lucky ball of 5.
Being a "For Life" prize, the winner, whose name was not released, will receive at least 20 years' worth of guaranteed annual payments, although the payments could last longer depending on how long the winner lives.
If the winner chooses the annuity prize option, the minimum guaranteed amount that they could receive is $7.3 million. The top-prize "Cash Option," though, is worth $5.75 million.
